THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY

THE CENTRAL MESSAGE OF

DEUTERONOMY.

HOW FAITHFUL IS OUR GOD?

Here are some scriptures that answer our question.

Psalm 33:4. “For the Lord is Upright, and all His work is done in .. Faithfulness.”

1 Corinthians 1:9 “God is Faithful, by our Lord.”

Hebrews 10:23. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He that who promised is Faithful.”

God is Gracious ..Wise and Righteous in His dealings with Israel in the past and in His renewed Promises for their future as a nation.

“GOD IS EVER FAITHFUL, AND EVER WILL BE FAITHFUL TO HIS PROMISES, HIS PURPOSES, AND TO US HIS PEOPLE.”

When things seem to be out of control. What a comfort to us that..

“GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE HE WILL REMEMBER HIS OWN, HIS PROMISE IS TRUE: HE WILL SEE US RIGHT THROUGH; GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE.”

HE is STILL on the Throne .. He doesn’t step off when things get tough and out of control!

His Throne of Grace is there to handle all your pressures and cares.
We are told to come boldly to the Throne of grace and find help in time of need.

Think about PAUL’S words in first Corinthians 1:8-9.
“GOD IS FAITHFUL, BY WHOM YOU WERE CALLED INTO FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. WHO WILL CONFIRM YOU TO THE END, THAT YOU WILL BE BLAMELESS, YES ‘BLAMELESS’ IN THE DAY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!!”

OH WOW!

Satan the father of liars keeps reminding us that we will never, ever make it due to our weaknesses and past failures.

We overcome him by the Blood of Jesus and the Power of His Word.

“BUT GOD REMAINS FAITHFUL EVEN WHEN WE ARE FAITHLESS .. BECAUSE HE CAN’T DENY HIMSELF.” 2 TIMOTHY 2:13.

When He sees you coming to His Throne, He doesn’t sneak off .. and avoid you!

HE IS FAITHFUL IN HIS CHARACTER AND IN HIS PROMISES.

HIS ARMS ARE OPEN WIDE TO RECEIVE AND LOVE YOU FOREVER!

HEY!
THERE IS NO SOCIAL
DISTANCING IN HEAVEN!!

How can you be Faithful toward Him?

Faithfulness comes from a place of Trust and Loyalty. Hebrews 11:1

Faithfulness requires you to submit to God.

Faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit. See Galatians 5:22-23.

It is demonstrated by your loyalty in your relationship not only to God, but in your relationships here on this earth and to truly love others.

You can grow in your Faithfulness by having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

And allow His Spirit to work His Will in your life.

Draw close to God through prayer and worship.

And the giving of thanks, in difficult times.

Here is a prayer you can pray to receive salvation.

Lord Jesus,

“Thankyou for your Faithfulness to me in dying to save my soul. LORD please save me from the penalty of sin. Come into my life and change me into your image through the power of your Holy Spirit.”

Amen.

(If you have prayed this prayer.. feel free to comment.)
